2014-2015 Microbiology

This course provides an introduction to the study of microscopic organisms and their interactions with the environment. A significant amount of time will be devoted to medical microbiology, including types of pathogens, human diseases caused by microorganisms, and the body’s immune response. The requirements of the course necessitate a high level of student motivation and a willingness to learn and apply concepts.
